What are we looking for?
Properties, properties, properties:- predominantly 1 and 2 bedroomed properties
- larger properties are still required, but in some circumstances it may take a little longer to find the right tenants
- properties in West London,
- properties in any other parts of London and outside of London will all be appreciated but it may take some time to find tenants who want to move out of the borough
We need properties that meet the Decent Homes Standard (or can be helped to meet this standard - see the Money for Landlords), that are clean and tidy, and will be ready to be occupied shortly.What is our goal?
The local authorities listed above all provide a level of assistance for households that leads to facilitating a private tenancy: providing a type of deposit payment, and arranging contact with a landlord to set up a private tenancy. There are a lot more households that require this low level assistance than the boroughs currently have properties for, so they are constantly on the lookout for more landlords and properties. This means that there is a list of households waiting for a property to become available with the right number bedrooms, and in the desired area.
